Looking back on 2016, it was a year of research action, policy engagement and community empowerment.
Our research on the energy and urban sectors which we conducted both independently and in collaboration with local and international research institutions, helped to advance the reform debates, and expand the spaces for the often-excluded target groups to get involved in setting and reshaping policy direction and outcomes.
