OYEBISI BABATUNDE OLUSEYI

Oyebisi Babatunde Oluseyi is a nonprofit executive with over two decades advancing civil society, nonprofit law, and sustainable development in Nigeria and globally. Since 2012, he has led the Nigeria Network of NGOs (NNNGO) as Executive Director, driving strategic growth and sector influence. His leadership includes roles with Forus, the International Center for Not-for-Profit Law, and the G7’s C7 Working Group, where he shaped reforms on nonprofit regulations, protection of civic space, financing for development and civil society participation at the United Nations. He championed nonprofit self-regulation, contributing to One World Trust and CIVICUS initiatives and developing frameworks for national associations across Africa in AML/CFT contexts.

Earlier, he worked with UNICEF in New York, launching the Rural Voices of Youth Initiative, and has served on boards including CIVICUS and the Community of Democracies. Recognised for bridging local leadership with global policy, he strengthens civic participation, accountability, and nonprofit governance while fostering an enabling environment for civil society and advancing the Sustainable Development Goals through his role as the co-Chair Agenda 2030.
