Florence Nakazibwe

Florence Nakazibwe is a Senior Legal Advisor for Africa at the International Center for Not-for-Profit Law, where she oversees country and thematic programs advancing human rights, rule of law and access to justice issues; provides technical expertise to governments, civil society organizations, and regional institutions in Africa on civil society law reform and policies governing not-for-profit organizations. She undertakes capacity building of key stakeholders on Anti-Money Laundering and Counter Terrorism Financing issues and works closely with civil society networks and human rights mechanisms at the UN and Africa region to promote good practices and norms for regulating civil society across these workstreams. Florence previously worked as Legal Officer at the UN Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights in Uganda.
