Spaces for Change | S4C and the Nigerian Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative (NEITI) co-hosted the National Extractives Dialogue 2022 held on July 21 & 22 in Abuja, FCT, with support from the Ford Foundation. Over the two days, S4C and NEITI welcomed 172 stakeholders in the oil and gas and solid minerals industry—policymakers, corporations, regulators, host communities and the civil society from Nigeria, Ghana and Senegal—who delivered rich presentations and took part in robust debates, panel discussions and plenary contributions towards improving contract transparency, benefit sharing, energy transition as well as the inclusion of host communities in these processes.
