150+ stakeholders drawn from federal and state government agencies, regulators, civil society organizations, corporations, academia, host communities, media, international development partners and stakeholders in West Africa’s extractives industry converged at the 4th edition of the National Extractives Dialogue (NED 2025) held in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, on July 30-31, 2025.
Co-convened by Spaces for Change | S4C, Nigeria Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative (NEITI), National Oil Spill Detection and Response Agency (NOSDRA), and the Ministry of Solid Minerals Development (MSMD), with support from the Ford Foundation, the theme of NED2025 is “Transitions, Divestments, and Critical Minerals: Charting a Just Future for Nigeria’s Extractive Sector.”
