Spaces for Change|S4C staff, accompanied by their family members and loved ones, embarked on the annual organizational retreat held during the first week of August every year. Nestled in a serene environment away from the hustle and bustle of daily work life, the team came together to unwind, reflect, and reinforce the bonds that make S4C not just a workplace, but a community.
The retreat began with reflection exercises to evaluate organizational processes and procedures, operations, internal and external communications, and policy performance. Through guided discussions and interactive exercises, staff reflected on their respective roles, identifying strengths and areas for improvement.
The major highlight of the retreat is the expert-led security training, equipping staff with essential skills and knowledge of security risks in the organization’s areas of operation and how to mitigate them. The lessons learned were an eye-opener and reinforced S4C’s commitment to the safety and well-being of its staff and their families.
