Day Four of the 3rd Africa High-Level Civil Society AML/CFT Conference will feature optional organized group tours for conference delegates interested in exploring the city of Abuja, Nigeria’s political capital.
From the captivating endowments of nature at the famous Zuma Rocks to the museums preserving the country’s historical monuments and artefacts down to the galleries warehousing the finest arts and fabrics, the organized group tour promises delegates rich insights into Nigeria’s rich cultural heritage.

CONTENTS OF THE FOUR MASTER CLASSES
Described as the “Gateway to Abuja”, Zuma Rock is a massive, 725-meter-high igneous intrusion (monolith) located along the Abuja-Kaduna highway near Madalla. Just 37 minutes from the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, this natural wonder features a distinct human-like face, serving as a prominent cultural and historical landmark. The tour to Zuma Rock will begin at 9:30am.

Considered one of the most digitalized museums in Africa, the Discovery Museum Abuja is a physical space dedicated to providing an interactive digital experience of Nigerian history. Roughly 42 minutes from the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, the museum offers visitors a near-life experience of some of Nigeria’s key historical moments, allowing patrons to relive the experiences. Nigeria’s rich art and cultural heritage come to life in this beautiful art gallery located 30 minutes from the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport. Considered one of the largest art galleries in West Africa, with branches in Nigeria and the United States of America (USA), it boasts a collection of over 8,000 diverse artworks from various renowned Nigerian artists.
