Demolishing Foundations of Peace details the systematic pattern of forced evictions and house demolitions in Nigeria, perpetrated by both city planners and security forces, in the name of “improving national security” and countering terrorism. It further profiled the specific impacts of the security crisis on vulnerable groups such as women, children and the youth, detailing how the crisis has massively curtailed the enjoyment of, and full realization of social and economic rights in the northern region of Nigeria.
